Jake began his dance training in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, where he trained across multiple disciplines before entering the competitive stream. During his early training, he received numerous awards, titles, and scholarships and also pursued acrobatic and circus arts, with specialized training in tumbling, handstand canes, and lyra.

At age twelve, Jake relocated to Calgary to join the Professional Division at Alberta Ballet School while performing with the Elite Competitive Team at YYC Dance Project. During his time in Calgary, he appeared on Canada’s Got Talent, performed multiple roles in Alberta Ballet’s The Nutcracker, and was named second runner-up for Junior Male Best Dancer at The Dance Awards in Las Vegas. In 2023, he was named Teen Male Dancer of the Year by the American Dance Awards.

At fourteen, Jake moved to New York City, where he spent three years training in the Jazz and Contemporary Program at Joffrey Ballet School. During his second and third years, he was selected to perform with the Joffrey Concert Group, the school’s pre-professional performance company, through which he travelled across the United States for a range of performance opportunities.

Jake has further developed his training through summer intensives with Joffrey Ballet School, Complexions Contemporary Ballet at USC Kaufman, The Juilliard School, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, and IC:EX – International Contemporary Ensemble in Europe.

Jake will continue his professional training in London, England, having accepted an offer to pursue his undergraduate studies at the prestigious Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance. Alongside his training at Rambert, he will simultaneously pursue a Bachelor of Business Administration through the University of London.
